[Raiders] Case White Complete English Guide

(Louis) #1

Welcome to the Panzer Girls Case White Event! This thread is intended to be a detailed and thorough guide to what you can expect from the event maps and how to clear them. Information will be divided by stage for easy reference. As always, feel free to ask any questions you may have and the community will try to answer them the best they can. Alternatively, you can privately message myself or join the English Discord Server(link) and someone on the server can assist you if they’re available. Without further ado, let’s get to the guide!

General Notes

There are four difficulty levels: Major (30 – 40), Lieutenant (60 – 70), Admiral (90 – 100), and Marshal (130 – 140). Ideally, your team is at least 10 levels higher than the level limit for the difficulty you’re attempting (so 50+ for Major, 80+ for Lieutenant, 110+ for Admiral, and 150 for Marshal). For the most part, the only differences between them are the enemy levels. There may be differences in what can drop and at what rate they do drop, but that is information players don’t normally have access to. The enemy lineups do not change very much in terms of types of enemies (so one node with 4x SPGs, 1x TD, and 1x LT on one difficulty will still have 4x SPGs, 1x TD, and 1x LT on another difficulty), but they do get upgraded and improved. This makes it easy to predict what the next difficulty level will be like in terms of setup. Their actual strength is a little less predictable though.

With regards to team compositions and setups, there are some minor changes in recommendations based on difficulty level due to the fact that as you get higher up, you will need to scale more for armor than for damage since the enemies hit much harder than before. As such, while SPGs might suffice for one difficulty or another, their weaker armor will be more of a burden at higher difficulties when strong armor is needed. In these cases, replacing them with TDs , HTs , or MTs will be the best option. If you’re intent on using SPGs anyway, make sure to use one SPG projectile and two High Density Armours and/or High Density Heavy Armours to make sure they have a much better chance to survive. Alternatively, if you prefer to perform a sacrificial ritual to the RNG gods and pray for the best, outfit your SPGs with Smoke Projectiles instead and your MTs with Smoke Grenade Launchers. After all, your tanks don’t need armor if they don’t get hit, right?

EDIT 4/24/18: The 2018 Case White event is officially over! However, I will continue to update the guide with information obtained during the event so that it is ready for the next Case White event. I hope everyone had good luck with this event!

E1 Main Guide

Requirements: LT-35 (Origin → 1), Speed >350 (Origin → 2), Firepower >600 (11 → 13)

Recommended Team: Major - 2x SPG, 2x TD, 1x HT, LT-35, Lieutenant – 2x SPG, 2x TD, 1x HT, LT-35, Admiral – 2-3x TD, 2-3x HT, LT-35

Strategy: At first glance, the route to take is obvious here: with LT-35 on-board, go from 1 → A → 11 → 13. Due to the randomization of Intersection 1, however, it may be a little more complicated than that. If you end up going from 1 → 4 → B, you’ll need to have a Supplement Wagon support item to beat the boss as you’ll end up going through five fights’ worth of resources (1, 4, B, 10, and 13). For this reason you should be sure to allot one of your support slots with a Supplement Wagon. Also keep in mind that if your Team’s Speed stat is over 350, the game will prioritize that route over LT-35’s route.

Depending upon the difficulty level you’re undertaking and the relative level of your tanks, you may want to equip yourself with a Repair Wagon support item in case LT-35 or another of your tanks get badly hurt on the way to the boss. This may make things a little more difficult since you have to give up an otherwise offensive support slot for this insurance, but the trade-off can be worth it. To avoid this necessity, make sure to raise LT-35 to a high level and outfit her with the best armor equipment you can to reduce how often she gets seriously hit and the damage she’ll take when she is. Also avoid attempting difficulties that are above your tanks’ levels.

The boss itself has 2x Ts, 1x HT, 2x TDs, and 1x LT. Scout vehicles and bombers are both very effective here with mines also being relatively effective. Knocking out the LT early with an SPG or bomber will be key to preventing the four Ambush enemies from heavily damaging your team. With the recommended team above, it shouldn’t be difficult to take out this boss unless RNG is just giving you a hard time.

Notes: Rumors indicate that M26 “Pershing” – an event-only tank – can be dropped by the boss at an extremely low rate! This is a rare opportunity to pick up a tank that is otherwise unavailable except from other events! UPDATE: M26 “Pershing” has been CONFIRMED as a drop from the boss node! I’ve uploaded a screenshot taken when I first received it. The file name has been preserved to serve as a confirmation that it dropped during this event. The introduction quote is a bug that has been forwarded to the developers. If you have any further questions, feel free to PM me and I will provide further confirmation for you.

E2 Main Guide

Requirements: Speed >350 (Origin → 14), Firepower <700 (14 → 17)

Recommended Team: Major – 1x TD, 1x HT, 3x MT, 1x LT, Lieutenant – 2x TD, 2x MT, 2x LT, Admiral – 2x TD, 2x MT, 2x LT

Strategy: As long as you meet the requirements for both intersections that have them, this stage should be relatively easy for you. If you don’t meet any of the requirements, it’s simply impossible without an insane amount of luck on your side. If you can bring at least a team with 350+ Speed, you’ll be able to clear it, albeit with some difficulty.

Assuming you meet both requirements, this is pretty straightforward. 14 → 17 → D will be the first half of it, then there’s the modest chance you’ll be sent to E instead of 26, which will actually make your life much easier as your resources will be completely restored before heading into the last two battles. If you get sent to 26, which is the most likely possibility here, then you may want to have a Supplement Wagon support item with you to prevent exhaustion from ruining your boss run in case you get sent to 25 first. It’s a very slim possibility that that will happen though, so you could also just restart or take the risk when that does happen. Either way, this path makes this stage a breeze, so you should have a rather easy time when you meet both requirements.

In the event you only meet the Speed requirement, you’ll be sent from 14 → 16 instead, sending you on a long path to the boss that will require a Supplement Wagon support item, unlike the other path. You’ll have to fight four battles before reaching the recovery node, leaving you in a bad position when it comes to fighting the boss unless you have a good Supplement Wagon. Even worse is that you’re more likely to ditch than not on this route, making this route in general a difficult one to take.

There is no strategy if you don’t meet the Speed requirement. You need incredible luck just to get to Node D, which even if you manage to do so, you need a Supplement Wagon to be able to take on the boss. Going this route could potentially cost you up to nine (9!) battles’ worth of resources from origin to boss (Origin → 15 → 19 → A → B → 23 → C → 26 → 25 → 27). Basically, it’s not worth it. Don’t try to run this stage until you have a sufficient team speed to be able to take genuinely viable routes.

The boss for this stage has 3x Ts, 2x TDs, and 1x LT, meaning any SPGs you’re able to bring should get a good work out on this one. The key part is bringing an SPG in the first place since they have such high Firepower and you need to keep it under 700. Most direct-damage support items are going to be effective here, most especially mines and bombers. Just make sure your team isn’t suffering from exhaustion and this should be an easy boss to run.

Notes: This stage isn’t particularly unique in and of itself in terms of benefits, but it might be unique in that it probably holds the record for the longest possible sequence of events. It gets pretty crazy there, doesn’t it? (Author’s Note: I managed to survive the 9-node run once. It was on Major difficulty. My tanks were way over-leveled, so it didn’t matter that their stats were halved. That route has a 4% occurrence rate. Too bad I didn’t go for a Big Three instead, huh?)

E3 Main Guide

Requirements: 2x TD (28 → 29), 2x HT (28 → 30), 2x MT (31 → 34), 1x SPG (33 → C)

Recommended Team: Major – 2x SPG, 1x TD, 2x MT, 1x LT, Lieutenant – 1x TD, 2x HT, 3x MT/LT, Admiral – 1x TD, 3x HT, 2x MT/LT

Strategy: There are several reasonable routes you could take for this stage, but the clear winner here is 28 → 30 → 33 → C → 42 → 45. Going this route means you won’t need a Supplement Wagon support item at all since there is no risk of going over three battles’ worth of resources thanks to C recovering 40% of them. This opens a slot for something far more useful to make this stage much easier to clear.

The next best route is 28 → 31 → 34 → 36 → C → 42 → 45. This one you’ll want a Supplement Wagon for since you’ll get to the boss node on the fourth battle, leaving your tanks slightly exhausted. You’ll need two MTs to go down this path, but in exchange you’ll be able to guarantee use of a second SPG since you won’t need to get to C. This is very helpful since you want to use only one TD if you use any at all as having two will force you down the more difficult route along the bottom. You could even make a case for using three SPGs this route, which for some players that may be preferable.

Then there’s the aforementioned route along the bottom: 28 → 29 → 32 → A → 40 → 41 → 45. This route has a ditch with a reasonably good chance to go down. While the good news is that this ditch would be Battle #3 in terms of resources, you’re probably more interested in reaching the boss than ending a run without using an expensive support. The upside to this route is that you can stick to your main team of two SPGs, two TDs, one HT, and one LT. The downside is that this is generally one of the more difficult routes to take on this stage and you will feel it as you hit the boss with an exhausted team.

The final path you can take is kind of difficult to get to anyway, ignoring the fact that it’s arguably the most difficult path to take. In order to go this route, you can only have one TD, one HT, and one MT, leaving SPGs and LTs to take up any remaining spots on the team. That said, it may not be much more difficult than the TD route above since you can still have a relatively balanced team. There are two ditches along this path though, the first having a decent chance of getting sent to and the second one not as bad. It is possible to get to the boss with a well-supplied team, but the odds are relatively low, so don’t bank on it. Most likely you’ll end up at the boss with an exhausted team, requiring you to use a Supplement Wagon to have a chance to win.

The boss team includes 4x Ts, 1x SPG, and 1x LT. If possible, try to save your bombers for this fight if you brought them since taking out the SPG and/or LT will make the rest of this fight much easier. Alternatively, you could bring a Combat Engineer to help with either the SPG or the Ambush units. Since most of these enemy types usually have lower armor values, as long as you can outpace their damage, you should be able to fully wipe out this team even if you have to go into Night Battle for it. This is the last battle for Case White, so do your best!

Notes: According to reports, it is possible to get the Big Three from the boss node! This is an extremely rare opportunity to get Maus, T95, and Morser Karl outside of the Factory! Don’t expect them to drop very often though - they’ve probably got extremely low drop rates to match!
